Last summer I went abroad for the first time. My
friend and I went to Europe on a package tour. Although
we were only there for eight days, we saw a lot of interesting things. The
tour started in Rome. Our Japanese tour guide greeted
us at the airport. Accommodations and transportation
were arranged for and prepaid by the tour company, so we didn't have any hassles. There
were 12 other Japanese people on the tour. We met
them the first morning on the bus which took us on a tour of the city. The
bus stopped at all the important sites. After Rome,
The bus took us to Florence and Venice. We spent one
day in each place. Next, we went to Germany. The
castles next to the Rhine River were beautiful, but we had to wait in really long
lines to get inside. After, we went to Holland and
stayed in Amsterdam for a night. We went sightseeing
by boat because there are a lot of canals in Amsterdam. After
Amsterdam we went to London. London was the best part
of the tour. On the bus tour of the city, we stopped
at Harrods and shopped for several hours. In the evening,
the tour guide took us to some pubs. We got back to
Tokyo early yesterday morning. We were both tired,
but we were very happy. |
